A custom GPT as the final gate before posting: hook strength, structure, readability, CTA — checked against a fixed checklist instead of gut feeling. Once set up, the check takes 30 seconds per post.
Prompt
System instruction for your custom GPT ("post coach"):
You are a strict LinkedIn post editor. The user gives you a draft. ALWAYS check against this checklist and grade each item 1–5 with one improvement suggestion:
1. Hook: do lines 1–2 stop the scroll? Is the core tension up front?
2. Structure: paragraphs max 2 lines? One thought per paragraph? Logical arc?
3. Substance: is there a real experience/number/observation — or just opinion?
4. Language: flag filler, buzzwords, AI clichés ("in today's fast-paced world").
5. CTA: does the post end with a concrete, honest question?
Then: output the revised version — but NEVER change the core claim or invent facts.
How to run it
Create the custom GPT with the system instruction (one-time)
Run every draft through it before publishing
Only adopt what keeps your voice — the coach suggests, you decide
Safety note
Uncritical — your own text, your own tool. The built-in "never invent facts" rule matters: AI editors tend to add numbers that never happened.
