1. Controller

2. Data we collect
Server logs
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel, see section 4) processes technically necessary log data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser identifier. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, secure operation).
Newsletter
When you sign up for the newsletter we store your email address, language, signup source and timestamp in our database (Supabase, EU region Frankfurt). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email or informally at info@bluebench.io.
Forms (submit a tool, contact)
Form submissions (e.g. tool name, URL, email address, message) are stored in our database (Supabase, EU region Frankfurt) to process your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
AI advisor
When you use the advisor chat, your chat input is transmitted to Anthropic (USA) to generate the answer. We do not store chat contents. Please do not enter personal data in the chat. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; US transfer based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework / standard contractual clauses.
Outbound clicks
Clicks on provider links (via /go/) are counted anonymously: tool identifier, time and referring page. No IP addresses are stored and no user profiles are created. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (measuring the reach of our recommendations).
Cookies & local storage
We only use strictly necessary browser storage (language setting, theme, cookie notice). No tracking, no marketing cookies, no third-party pixels, no analytics services.
3. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21) at any time. Just write to info@bluebench.io.
4. Hosting & processors
We use the following processors: Vercel Inc. (USA) for hosting, delivery (CDN) and serverless functions; Supabase Inc. for the database (hosted in the EU, AWS Frankfurt, region eu-central-1); Anthropic PBC (USA) exclusively to answer advisor chat requests. US transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework / EU standard contractual clauses. We use no further third parties, analytics or advertising services.
5. Right to complain
You can complain to the data protection authority at any time, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
